FDAAA Appoints New Members of its Board of Directors and Officers

At the annual meeting of the FDAAA held on April 22, 2009, outgoing Secretary, Jeff Springer, announced that the following were elected to the Board of Directors for a three year term:

Andy Bonnano
Elizabeth Krell
Robert Sauer
John Taylor

Bannano and Taylor are new to the Board replacing Ballard Graham and Jerry Halperin whose terms have expired. Krell and Sauer were re-elected and have agreed to remain on the Board of Directors.

The following persons were elected by the Board of Directors to serve one year terms as Officers of the Association:

Florence Houn
Treasurer

General Counsel

Alan Andersen takes over for outgoing President Tony Celeste. His former position of Treasurer is filled by Florence Houn and Robert Eccleston moves from Chairman of the Awards Committee to fill the Secretary's position that had been held by Jeff Springer. Steve Neidelman assumes the position of the newly created Vice President of the Association.

The Association is grateful to those who have served and welcome the newly elected members. We are particularly appreciative of the excellent leadership of Tony Celeste as our President for the past several years.
