Murray Lumpkin, M.D., FDA Deputy Commissioner for
International and Special Programs, was the featured
speaker at FDAAA’s November 2007 luncheon.
Dr. Lumpkin discussed FDA’s latest initiatives in
the international arena, including plans to post investigators
abroad to improve the agency’s ability to monitor the
quality of products intended for import to the United States.
     Nov. 8 FDAAA luncheon drew a full house at the Far East
      restaurant in Rockville, Md.
