Large open spaces and bountiful natural lighting are hallmarks of the Central Shared Use building at White Oak. The building houses a library, cafeteria, meeting space, and other facilities for use by the 10,000 FDA employees eventually expected to work at White Oak.
The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research Office Building 1 at White Oak, completed in 2005 and now occupied by CDER staff. All buildings at the complex will be connected by walkways and tunnels.
